It comes packed with a 3.5-inch 640×360 resistive touchscreen display with tactile feedback, a slide-out QWERTY keypad, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss glass lens, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, 32GB internal memory and support of up to 48GB microSD memory. It also boasts of DVD quality video recoring at 30fps. That’s certainly an impressive stat sheet to behold.
The N97 is expected to begin shipping in the first half of 2009 with a retail price of €550 or roughly $693 excluding tax and subsidies. It definitely belongs to the more expensive side of the family, but with its stellar feature-set, we certainly wouldn’t mind skipping the N96 and 5800XpressMusic just to make sure we’d have extra cash left when this baby hits the market.
